Lawyer Appointment Service

Legal Representation for Children & Youth (LRCY) is one of the services provided by the Office of the Child and Youth Advocate. LRCY is responsible for the appointment of lawyers for children and youth receiving services under the Child, Youth and Family Enhancement Act (Enhancement Act) or the Protection of Sexually Exploited Children Act (PSEC Act).

We do not appoint lawyers for criminal, civil, private custody, or access cases.
