Quarterly Reports

Section 3(3)(F) of the Child, Youth and Family Enhancement Act requires the Child and Youth Advocate to, “…submit a report to the Minister every 3 months on the Child and Youth Advocate’s activities and observations.”  These reports have come to be referred to as the “quarterly reports.”

As a part of the July 22, 2009 release of the Review of Advocacy Services for Children and Youth in Alberta Report, Minister Tarchuk committed to public release of the Child and Youth Advocate’s quarterly reports.

Initially, quarterly reports covering April 1, 2008 to March 31, 2009 will be published.  Reports subsequent to March 31, 2009 will be published as they are available. 

The reports have had personal identifiers removed so that they can be made public.
