What is the Appeal Panel?
The Minister of Children’s Services appoints people to review decisions made by caseworkers who provide services under the Child, Youth and Family Enhancement Act (Enhancement Act). These people don’t work for the Child and Family Services Authorities or the Delegated First Nations Agencies that provide services.
The Enhancement Act makes rules about the Panel, like who can make an appeal to the Panel and what decisions a panel can review.

This is what is called a formal appeal process. Asking for an administrative review of a decision is a less formal process. To find out more about an administrative review, click on Administrative reviews.
